In 1983, Dave founded DP Associates, Inc. and developed the MDlogix™ Medical Office Management software for over 250 medical offices. In 1995 DP Associates merged with Independent Computer Services, Inc. (ICS) of Jackson, a Versyss© physician practice management system value added reseller, to form MediQuest, which was quickly acquired by Companion Technologies of South Carolina, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, managing the sales and service for approximately 500 clients in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, Dave acquired Medical Management Services (MMS), a physician billing service, based in Ridgeland, Mississippi in 1998, growing it to serve approximately 400 physicians in six states, becoming the largest medical billing service in Mississippi. Clients included many specialties such as emergency medicine, radiology, anesthesiology, pathology, surgery, pulmonology, ENT, internal medicine, family, pediatrics, general surgery, neurosurgery, hospitalists, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, wound therapy and others. Azima Health Services, Inc. of Dallas purchased MMS in 2002.

eHealthTech has been an authorized value added reseller for Greenway Medical Technologies©’ practice management and electronic medical records system and is now an authorized sales agent through GroupOne Health Source, LLC (www.groupone.info) for the eClinicalWorks© ambulatory software solution that combines practice management, electronic medical records and managed care functions for medical practices in one integrated system built with the latest technology from Microsoft.

In July 2007, eHealthTech acquired the physician billing components of Azima’s business, now offering the number one-rated, web-based AdvancedMD® billing software, and technology including the CLEX® document management system from Indecomm Global Services®, electronic claims submission and remittance through clearinghouses including Vericle®, GHN® and McKesson®, claim scrubbing systems from McKesson® and Ingenix®, electronic interfaces with client hospitals for patient data collection, and other tools to provide the best possible service to its customers. All staff is based in Jackson, Mississippi under local management.
